One thing to keep in mind: anything that changes something — creating, updating,
deleting — needs a write-enabled connection. If a request like that doesn't go through,

Once you're comfortable, you can string these requests together into real workflows. A few
that teams lean on:

A review desk that runs itself — watch reviews across Google, Facebook, and Yelp,
draft on-brand replies, flag the urgent ones for a human, and track sentiment as it
shifts.

A ranking action plan — read the heat-maps, find the soft spots, add the right
keywords to tracking, and schedule posts where visibility is thin.

Campaigns that trigger themselves — pull in transaction data, group customers, fire
off targeted review requests, and report back on what converted.

These go a step beyond a single prompt — they involve wiring Synup MCP to your own tools

Loading just what you need

If you're building your own agent and want to keep things lean, you can tell Synup MCP to
surface only the areas you care about. It's an optional tuning step — most people never
need it.

You do it with a couple of headers. Each area carries a tag (locations, listings,
reviews, local_posts, social_posts, rankings, flows, account, insights):

Header	What it does
`X-tags-include: domain:reviews,domain:locations`	Show only those areas
`X-tags-exclude: domain:local_posts`	Hide those areas

So a review-only session would look like:

When something doesn't work

You're getting nothing back. Make sure the location actually exists — ask your
assistant to "run get_all_locations" and check it's there.

You're only seeing part of the list. You're looking at the first page. Just say
"show me the next page" and it'll keep going.

You asked for a change and nothing happened. You're almost certainly in read-only mode.

Things are timing out. With a lot of locations, narrow the ask — a shorter date range
or fewer locations at a time keeps it snappy.
